U-M Football Player Charged With Sexual Assault In East Lansing
WLNS.com is reporting that a University of Michigan football player has been arraigned on two charges of fourth degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, one felony resisting and obstructing police charge, and a Minor In Possesion charge.
Grant Perry appeared in 54-B District Court Wednesday. He is accused of sexually assaulting a woman by touching her while in line to get into an East Lansing bar back in October. Perry was allegedly intoxicated at the time, and fled officers as they approached him.
Perry was suspended during the Wolverines' system by Coach Jim Harbaugh. At the time, Harbaugh declined to state the reason for Perry's suspension.
