UPDATE: Three Killed When Car Struck Lansing School

UPDATE Monday, August 20, 2018: The Lansing State Journal reports that the 43 year old man involved in that wreck has also died following last night's wreck.

Authorities are not yet releasing identities of those involved in the crash, pending notification of relation.

WLNS TV 6 reports that a car crashed into Lansing’s Pattengill Elementary School in the 900 block of Fairview Avenue around 11:00 last night. A 36 year old woman did not survive the crash.

A 43 year old man was severely injured, as were two girl girls aged 12 and 11 years old, and a 5 year old boy.

Early indications are that alcohol was a factor in the wreck, but they’re still investigating.
