As more and more of us here in Michigan get our COVID-19 vaccines, we need a way to keep those coveted cards you get protected from the elements. Staples has us covered.

Now, I don't know about any of you but I have not worked nor lived somewhere with a laminator in a very long time. In fact, I don't think I would even know how to use one if I did. However, you know how many times I have wished I could just simply laminate something?

Okay, so maybe it's not been a whole lot but...still...I mean, there's been a few and once I get my vaccines that card is exactly one of those.

That's why I was so glad to find out and share with all of you, Staples stores are offering free lamination for your vaccination cards!

According to WILX, now through April 3rd, you can take your card to a Staples store once you've gotten the full gambit of necessary doses and they will laminate your card for free.

Sure, at first lamination probably doesn't seem like something you're going to go out of your way to get done nor get pretty excited for. However, when you try to find a way to laminate something on your own, you'd be glad for services like the one Staples is offering.

Also, I'm just kind of a nerd about stationary and office supplies and things like laminating stuff, I might just bring anything I've ever thought about laminating along with me while I'm at it. There's just something so "#oddlysatisfying" about it.

WILX did make sure to note that whether your card is laminated or not, you should avoid sharing pictures of your cards on social media as it can give away certain information you'd probably rather not give strangers (creeps) free access to.

If you are interested, there are two Staples stores in the Lansing area, one in the Frandor Shopping Center, and another in The Marketplace at Delta Township. Both offer in-store shopping and curbside pickup, though I'm not sure if the laminations can be facilitated through curbside service.

To be completely honest, I was surprised to find out Staples stores were still around but I will never forget those "Easy" buttons so between those and free laminations, I'd say they're just fine.

On that note, though, here are some of our favorite retail chains that are actually not with us anymore:
