Webberville and MSU Grad Gets Book Published

The other day I came home and there was an Amazon box. I thought, "aww crap, Mrs. Pants has been Shutterflying again." I was wrong. When we opened the box, there were 2 books. Both of them were titled "But I Don't Eat Ants." It had an Anteater on the cover. Click here to check it out on Amazon.

I laughed and looked closer. The author of the book was Dan Marvin. DAN MARVIN? From WEBBERVILLE!!?!?!?!?

"Yup." My wife said. That Dan Marvin. "The same Dan I used to work with."

First, I was really happy for him. He just lost his mother to a battle with cancer. He dedicated the book to her in a beautiful tribute.

Then, I really liked the book. I laughed. It has big words and several foods I didn't hear of when I was a kid. Of course, our baby Nugget loved it. And the box it came in.

Dan will be doing a reading for for the book and signing copies at the Barnes and Noble in Lansing tomorrow at 11am.

About the Author

Dan Marvin works in advertising as a writer and creative director. His education includes a B.A. from Michigan State University and comedy classes at The Second City in Chicago and Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle in Detroit. Dan lives in Farmington Hills, Michigan, with his wife Andrea, son Cooper, and daughter Audrey. Andrea and Audrey are picky eaters. Dan and Cooper will try almost anything. BUT THEY DON'T EAT ANTS!
