Winter Weather Advisory Tonight and Tomorrow for Mid-MI
Our commute tomorrow morning might be challenging!
It appears we might be in for our first real round of winter weather. Sure, there were some snow showers on the day the Spartans hosted the Wolverines on the football field in East Lansing on October 20th, then we had some snowy/haily/rain yesterday. It's supposed to get real tomorow.
The NOAA Winter Weather Advisory is in place from 1:00 AM EST to 7:00 PM EST tomorrow, November 9th. Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, Jackson and surrounding counties have a pretty good chance of one to three inches of snow accumulation.
Probably a good idea to anticipate hazardous travel conditions tomorrow morning and likely throughout the day. You might want to give yourself some extra time for your travels and maybe take some extra caution on the bridges and overpasses.
You may also encounter limited visibility with the expected snow showers as well.
Have you checked your tires yet? Got some salt or kitty litter in the trunk? Scraper. Sigh.
