Wisconsin’s Chryst: “There’s No Magic To This”
After a lopsided 30-6 win in Spartan Stadium, Wisconsin Head Coach Paul Chryst and other Badger players addressed the media.
One of the things the Badgers did exceptionally well is their conversions on 3rd and 4th downs, at one point going 7/11 on 3rd and 2/2 on 4th.
Chryst also addressed questions on how Wisconsin is in one of the toughest stretches of opponents in the country, with Michigan, Ohio State, Iowa and Nebraska still to come for the Badgers with only a bye week as respite somewhere in between.
From the players perspective, T.J. Watt had a huge day for the Badgers with two and a half sacks. He also doesn't care what the ranking next to an opponent is, they just go out and play Wisconsin football.
Wisconsin running back Corey Clement was held under 60 yards on the ground but still found the end zone twice.
And finally the quarterback, Alex Hornibrook, who was making his first career start as a college QB. He had an efficient day and led his team to the victory with 195 yards of passing offense and a score.
