Your Smart TV May Be Sharing Your Personal Conversations

Sure, we first heard about this a couple years ago, but maybe you just got a new big screen. If you didn't know, when you allow the voice recognition feature on your Smart TV, everything you say is being tracked. Samsung explicitly warns you in their privacy policy:

"Please be aware that if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured and transmitted to a third party."

Parker Higgins pointed out on Twitter the comparison of the privacy policy to text from the George Orwell novel "1984", which has seen a recent surge in sales - a 9,500 % increase in sales.
