Bad Saturday Omen: Scrap Metal Sparty

I am always looking for the omen's on a football Saturday. I am very superstitious and believe what fate tells me. Last week against BYU, I just kept finding blue underwear.

This week, the omen I tried to overlook was Scrap Metal Sparty. They had him out for homecoming over by the MSU surplus store. I couldn't help but think... He was a metaphor for our junk season. We lost our 4th straight game to Northwestern on HOMECOMING!

It's a very cool piece of art but I don't blame him for the loss. He didn't miss any blocks or tackles on Saturday. He also didn't coach special teams but he may as well have.
