Celebrate National Flip Flop/Thong Day!

And it doesn't eve have top do with politicians! National flip flop day is just what it means, a day to celebrate what was once known as "thongs!" One of those stories that starts out with "back in my day," flip-flops were known as "thongs." In many parts of the world, the term thong is still used to describe the sandal-like footwear.

It seems that this type of footwear has taken yet another turn. You can now take and send your favorite pair of cowboy boots and have them turned into a fancy pair of western flip flops, or is it a cowboy thong? Either way, celebrate the day that allows freedom to four of your piggies and segregates the other one for enjoying too many trips to the market!
