Meijer-WMMQ Lansing-Area High School Athlete of the Week
Meijer and WMMQ are saluting the Lansing area’s outstanding student-athletes and their achievements by featuring them as Meijer-WMMQ High School Athlete of the Week during the 2014-2015 academic year.
However, we need your help in identifying these outstanding student-athletes to recognize their efforts both on and off the field.
On a weekly basis from September through May — with the exception of over the — holidays, WMMQ and Meijer will select and announce the Meijer-WMMQ High School Athlete of the Week. Those selected will be recognized with a plaque, showcased online by WMMQ and hyped on air.
Nominations can be made by anyone — coaches, teachers, administrators, athletic boosters, supporters or even proud parents, grandparents and friends.
Nominees must be submitted each week by noon Monday – with the exception of Labor Day week next week, when the deadline is noon Tuesday.
The Meijer-WMMQ High School Athlete of the Week will be announced each Friday during the 2014-2015 school year from September through May, except for the holiday weeks in late December.
