(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

News out of Robert Plant's camp today spelled out details of a North American Tour. So far, seven shows have been announced featuring Plant and his latest project the Sensational Space Shifters. The closest show announced, thus far, is a date in Chicago on October 2, 2014. The news of a tour helps to continue to dash hopes of a Led Zeppelin reunion, an idea fully supported by fellow Zeppelin originator Jimmy Page. Page has gone on record stating his frustrations about Plant "just playing games" about a potential reunion, and is thinking about his own tour. Plant has said he "is not a part of a jukebox" and there is "zero chance" of playing with his old band again.

So, tonight, we adhere to Robert Plant's wishes, and recognize him as the artist he is. Tune in for three non-Zeppelin, solo Plant songs for tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot: "Burning Down One Side", "Little By Little", and "Ship Of Fools", only on 94.9 WMMQ!
