Anvil Cloud Looms Over Central Michigan

We see lots of different shapes and forms in clouds. Earlier this week I noticed a large anvil cloud (Cumulus Incus) looming over the Mount Pleasant area. A monstrosity in proportion, it looked as if would explode at any time.

Oddly enough it didn't even rain. Just another threat in the late summer sky. Have you seen any strange cloud formations lately? If so, share them with us here!
