Bissell Pet Foundation To Empty The Shelters In October

WLNS.com reports that the good folks at the Bissell Pet Foundation will be at it again in October...setting out to "Empty The Shelters".

In April, the non-profit organization held its first ever Empty The Shelters event, and helped over 1,500 animals find forever homes. Next month, on October 14, Bissell will team up with 75 rescue groups and shelters in Michigan looking to improve on those numbers.

During the event, Bissell Pet Foundation will pick up the tabs on adoption fees. But, know that some shelters may require adopters to pay a licensing fee.
