In case you missed the Blue Angels Flight over Detroit yesterday, you can check out the video below. They were supposed to fly over a few weeks ago but bad weather postponed the flight.

My buddy Darrell Wiles drove down to catch them as they flew over the hospitals as a salute to the medical workers. It's a short video but I LOVE the sound of those engines.

I never knew much about the Blue Angels before this year. They are the second oldest formal acrobatic flight team in the world. Click here for more of their history. Their mission: "to showcase the pride and professionalism of the United States Navy and Marine Corps by inspiring a culture of excellence and service to country through flight demonstrations and community outreach."

A few weeks ago Darrell made his TikTok dancing debut with his daughter... You can click here to see that dancing white guy gem... It may make you feel a bit better. Darrell said they stopped at the Lowe's on 15 Mile and Van Dyke by the GM Tech Center. They did a little planning based on the Blue Angels flight plan.

"We were really pretty lucky to have picked that spot out." Darrell said. "There were about 15-20 people at this location and we maintained our social distancing the entire time."

That was his sister with the awesome scream.
