Bored? Download These Museum Coloring Books From Around the World
Kids (and you) at home due to coronavirus closures? Sure, they have homework - you have your work. But when that's done, everyone gets bored. Eventually, you'll beat every level on every video game. And that's when you announce, "Who's up for coloring a human brain?"
Thanks to the New York Academy of Medicine Library, we have ColorOurCollections.org. For the past several years, NYAM has invited other museums and libraries to submit (usually) old drawings and sketches that can be downloaded as PDFs and printed out. A lot of these are medically related, but there are a wide variety of subjects (some of them possibly TOO accurate for younger kids - you've been warned).
My only issue - where's Michigan State and University of Michigan? Not on the list of contributing museums and libraries.
From last year, OpenCulture.com has the story.
