Brian Lewerke Out For The Season

When Brian Lewerke left the game against Michigan late in the 4th quarter not much news was readily on the redshirt freshman quarterback's condition. Now we know.

Mark Dantonio announced via press release that Lewerke will miss the rest of the season after suffering a broken tibia vs. Michigan

Dantonio said the injury will require surgery but Lewerke should be available for spring practice next year.

Lewerke played in four games this season starting two of them, throwing 381 yards two touchdowns and one interception.

It is unknown how this news will affect the redshirt of freshman quarterback Messiah DeWeaver.
