313 Presents issued an advisory to concertgoers at DTE Energy Music Theater this summer. Expect traffic delays and leave early for the show!

There are a multitude of road construction projects around the amphitheater and the entire area around Pine Knob, including a major road widening project on the road the leads to the theater, Sashabaw Road.

There will only be one lane of traffic available both northbound and southbound on Sashabaw Road between I-75 and Clarkston Road, the exact stretch of Sashabaw adjacent to DTE Energy Music Theater. Heavy delays are expected during peak driving hours...which includes before and after concerts.

Also, there are multiple construction projects along I-75 that will add to traffic delays on the way to shows. The major project is between Coolidge Highway and 13 Mile Road, south of the Pine Knob area. But, there are also nearly two dozen bridges along I-75 undergoing repairs between South Boulevard and Baldwin Road in Oakland County surrounding Pontiac and Auburn Hills.

The parking lot at DTE Energy Music Theater will be open at the latest by 4:30 PM on concert dates, and gates will open 90 minutes prior to most shows. But, start times differ for different shows. You should check information at 313presents.com for details for each individual show.
