Ice Cube's 3 on 3 league, Big 3 will play its third year this summer.  Among the players in the league this year will be a former Pistons forward.

According to M-Live, Josh Smith has signed to join the Big 3 league this summer.

Smith is still being paid by the Pistons after they released him through the NBA's stretch provision in 2014.   They will pay him through next year.

Smith joins former Michigan State Spartan Shannon Brown and former NBA stars like Joe Johnson and Al Jefferson who have signed for this season.

Big 3 league is a 3 on 3 league that was founded by rapper and actor Ice Cube.  It features former NBA and international players.

The league runs during the summer and travels around to cities across the country and to Toronto,Canada.  The league will be in Detroit at Little Caesars Arena on July 13.
