Glad We Didn’t Play Western This Year… Could the Broncos Crash the Playoff?

Ahh. Western Michigan plays Eastern Michigan Saturday 3:00pm. It may be a better game than Michigan vs Illinois or MSU vs Maryland. Eastern is 5-2 and Western is 7-0 and #20 in the land.

The game will be played at Waldo Stadium in Kalamazoo. Western is 2- against Big 10 teams from the state of Illinois this season. They beat Northwestern and Illinois ON THE ROAD. So, they need Northwestern to keep winning if they have any hope of making the Playoff. They NEVER will.

The Broncos coach is PJ Fleck who is SURE to leave after this year for a million dollar job. You can click here to see more about him. So, why won't Western get their shot at the Playoff? Even a 1 loss Bog 10 or SEC team would get in before them. They could get a Big Bowl game with a monster payday but their brand isn't big enough for the Playoff.
