I've heard of everything. A canned food drive, paper drive, pet food drive, and even a peanut butter drive.

But this one is new to me.

And while I may have never heard of it before, this is their 10th annual event.

So apparently it works. Very well.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I submit "The Dewitt Bands 10th Scrap Metal Drive".

When and where do I bring all my junk?

It's coming up in August so you've got a little time. Saturday and Sunday the 14th and 15th.

If you can't bring it to them, they will gladly come and get it from you. You just have to leave it outside and make it easy for them to pick up. Gotta be Covid-19 safe and all.

They sincerely want your junk metal and will take whatever you can throw their way.

Even if it's this piece of junk.

But seriously, they'll take your scrap metal. No matter how big it is. And per the flyer below they will totally come and get it. It's all for a great cause and if you need to talk to someone, get more info, or arrange a pickup, it's all on the flyer.

We thank you in advance for helping out our friends and family in Dewitt.
