It was almost a year ago that Draymond Green infamously punched Jordan Poole in the middle of a preseason practice. That moment would go on to define the Golden State Warriors' attempted title defense in 2022-2023, a season that ended in a second-round playoff exit.

Steve Kerr said after the season ended that the Warriors never really recovered from that incident.

But the organization has now. Golden State traded Poole and his bloated contract to Washington, then re-signed Green to a four-year, $100 million contract that will likely allow him to retire a Warrior.

Green, of course, is no stranger to controversy. And even the Warriors franchise has finally moved on from the punch, Green hasn't. He's talked about the incident multiple times in the month since Poole was dealt.

Ain’t nobody on my team triggering me in an instant. We know stuff you don’t say amongst men. We know things you that you have to stand on.

That was apparently the straw that broke the camel's back for Poole's dad, Anthony, who took to Twitter to air his grievances with Green.

The drama from this damn punch just won't end. Green is the consummate villain, to be sure. But even by his lofty standards, this is a bit much.
