Lansing Community College Courses Online Next Fall

According to the Lansing State Journal, most Lansing Community College courses will be taught online next fall due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

LCC hopes to provide hybrid options for students training to become paramedics and in courses such as welding, aviation, and several others.

Additional courses could be adapted to the hybrid model, including general education classes. Such as math, science and writing classes.

I went to LCC back in 1974 and 1975. Seems like such a long time ago. I took two radio classes back then and I also had several air shifts on their WLCC campus radio station. I really enjoyed my time at LCC.

When it comes to safety, LCC has already begun considering measures, such as requiring everyone on campus to wear a face mask, using hands free door openers and installing sneeze guards in various locations.

Davenport University announced similar plans to host some students on their Lansing, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Midland and Warren campuses in the fall, while others remain online.

Despite the continuing COVID-19 spread and the impact the disease could have on campus, both schools are optimistic about enrollment numbers for the fall.

Personally speaking, I thought it would be fun to take classes again at Lansing Community College. I would either take mechanic classes so I could fix my own car or I would take business classes and use it to the best of my ability.
