A dude driving down I-96 by Williamston last week likely added a new stain to his britches. He was driving down I-96 when a flatbed truck switched lanes in front of him. A piece of steel fell off the flatbed, hit the road and slammed straight into the dashboard of his truck. His steering wheel stopped the piece of steel about 6 inches from his chest.
