Losing My Hart: Kicking Deb’s Ass at Air Hockey

I grew up in a house with 2 relentless sisters. My brother was big and mean so my sisters had to be pretty tough. By the time I came along, they were badasses. They never let me win. So, I do not have a problem with beating a lady at sport and celebrating. I celebrate the victories of life. This was right after MSU beat Ohio State in 2015 and I took my celebration notes from this.

Now, we were giving away Red Wing tickets and you had to come out and play air hockey to win them. Deb said on the air "I'll kick your ass at air hockey." I took the challenge and asked Duran Martinez to record it. She was trying. She didn't let me win.

I will miss Deb more than any listener. I came in everyday and performed for HER. It's scary to think of what I will do without her. She really set me up to shine and made me better. I hope I did the same for her.
