Now that bow season is in full swing and November 15th is fast approaching, Michigan hunters need to be aware that there are some mandatory regulations in place for deer harvested in Ingham, Clinton and Shiawassee Counties.

Due to the now 8 confirmed cases of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD), hunters are required to have their deer checked at one of the stations provided by the Michigan DNR.

In the event the hunter would like to have their deer mounted, special, they will be instructed as to what parts of the deer are needed and how to properly prepare their deer for processing.
