It's not official yet, but Tuesday, executives at Fiat Chrysler brought up the date they're targeting to get back to work in Michigan's auto plants.

According to ClickOnDetroit, as part of a conference call on Tuesday, Fiat Chrysler executives said their target date to open up their plants is May 18th. Ford and GM have not yet stated when they would open, but May 18th would be past the May 15th Gov. Whitmer's "stay at home" end date.

There's some speculation that there would be some prep time involved (especially in this new world of "social distancing" at work) to get things up and running. And the factories' suppliers would have to open up in concert, or even before, the big plants. No word yet on if or when that would happen.
