It's still hard to believe that after all these years, Paige Renkoski who went missing on May 24, 1990, has never been found.

I'm writing this article because we should never ever forget about Paige Renkoski. This Michigan cold case still needs to be solved.

Back in 1990 when this all took place near the Fowlerville exit, I was working at a local radio station at the time with a good friend of mine, John Robinson.

John wrote a great story about Paige Renkoski giving readers all the details about that fateful day when Paige went missing. The article was written by John in 2020.

The story about Paige Renkoski was in every newspaper, on every news station not only here in Michigan, but across the country as well. So many people were invested in this case because it's almost as if she vanished into thin air.

Paige was 30 years old at the time of her disappearance and was engaged to be married.

At the time, she was working as a pre-school aid while pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Development.

On that fateful day, May, 24,1990, Paige drove her mother to the Detroit Metro airport and dropped her off. All we know is that later in the day, Paige purchased gas near the Fowlerville exit, and on her way back home, she pulled over on the side of I-96 and got out of her vehicle for whatever reason.

According to nbcnews.com:

Local NBC Station, WDIV, would later report that a passerby had seen Paige outside her car with a man and a maroon minivan around 3:30 p.m. that afternoon.

After all of that information was given, Paige Renkoski was nowhere to be found. It's what haunts us still to this day.

Authorities found the car still running on the side of I-96 with Paige's purse and shoes left inside.

NBCnews.com adds:

Police told the Lansing State Journal they believe Paige Vanished around 4:00 p.m. on May 24, 1990, which would have been shortly after people remember seeing her on the side of the interstate near Fowlerville with that unidentified man.

This is such a sad story to tell even after all this time has passed. Paige's mother, Ardis, passed away a while back not even knowing what happened to her own daughter back in 1990.

Anyone with information on the circumstances surrounding Paige's disappearance should contact the Livingston County Sheriff's Department. You can also text 517-546-TIPS or send an email to coldcasetips@livgov.com.
