Michigan Roads Will Have Extra Patrols Today Through Sunday

Extra Michigan State Police patrols will be on the roads looking for drunk drivers, as well as those speeding, not wearing seatbelts and distracted drivers, like the jerk we saw driving last night without any vehicle lights on in the dark, weaving in and out of his lane, face buried in his phone.

And for the love of all things holy, if you're going to be heading to the bar tonight for what's unofficially dubbed 'Blackout Wednesday', one of the most prolific drinking days of the year, please call a sober friend or family member, Uber or a cab to haul your drunk ass around. It will be WAY cheaper than a drunk driving arrest - and, more importantly, you won't be putting the lives of others at risk.
