May was a great month for Michigan State football recruiting, but June is off to an even better start for the Spartans.

On Sunday, MSU picked up a verbal commitment from top-rated Indiana player Auston Robertson. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound defensive lineman from Fort Wanye is ranked among the nation's best 100 players for the class of 2016 by some recruiting services, including 247 Sports, which lists Robertson as the No. 5 weak-side defensive end in 2016.

Robertson is the second top 100 recruit Mark Dantonio and the Spartans have picked up in three days. On Friday, Illinois' top-rated prospect, Josh King, verbally committed to State.

Robertson is the 15th commit for Dantonio's 2016 recruiting class in East Lansing. His commitment continues to raise the Spartans' recruiting profile as many recruiting services rank MSU's 2016 class among the nation's top 10.
