Michigan’s Eric Spitz Trying to Run a Marathon in Every State

Last Tuesday, Keith Spitz of Holt won some ticket window Tuesday prizes from the Michigan Lottery and came in to claim his prize. While he was here, I bumped into him and he began talking about his son Eric. He told me Eric has set a goal to run a marathon in every state. I know a lot of runners but don't know anyone who has pulled that off yet.

So, I called up Eric to find out a little bit about him and his goal.

His next run is coming up in Atlantic City, New Jersey next month.

What a great fitness goal and way to stay in shape. I can't even run an entire 5K.

I have always wanted to visit every state. What a cool way to visit them and make a memory in that state.
