Lansing Movie Man Heading for Sierra Leone

Celebration! Cinema Movie-Man Ron Van Timmeran is a weekly guest on WMMQ, with the topic always being what new releases are being unleashed for our entertainment pleasure. WMMQ has had a lengthy business relationship with Celebration! which includes the annual WMMQ Halloween Costume Contest for Dogs and weekly giveaways of movie passes for our listeners.

Also, each year when the radio station staff receives our personal VIP cards to see whatever movies we like in order to keep up to date on what's show, we always receive a letter from Celebration! Cinema owner John Loeks, who tells us about a charity near and dear to his heart in Sierra Leone. Loeks and Van Timmeran have gone with groups to the impoverished country to work with the villagers on projects to improve living conditions and share their faith.
