MLive.com reports that the National Weather Service is going to test a new 'Snow Squall' warning for those quick bursts of snow that have been deemed to be the most deadly weather conditions in Michigan.

The story indicates that most of the fatal multi-car wrecks in our state have been caused by snow squalls. They'll test the new warning in southeast Michigan (not the west side of the state?!?!) and see how it goes from there.
