Party at Moriarty’s in Lansing Sunday to Help Seniors
Joey Pants and I talked this morning with my friend Traci Ruiz, retired Lansing Police Department Lieutenant and graduate of Michigan State University, about the Tri County TRIAD fundraiser this Sunday, 11/18/18, at Moriarty's Pub in Lansing.
TRIAD is an all-volunteer organization that provides services for older adults in our community.
Their website states:
Our local chapter serves the tri-county region of Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties.
Our group of dedicated volunteers meet monthly (except December) on the third Tuesday of each month at 3:00 pm at Lansing Fire Station 8 located at 815 Marshall St. in Lansing. Our meetings are open to the public and welcome new members at anytime throughout the year.
For more information about our meetings and to receive meeting notification and documents, please email our Secretary, Michelle Jackson, at Info@TriCountyTRIAD.org.
To learn more about our ongoing Education, Outreach, and Fundraising, please visit our Programs page.
You can help out the elders in our community by simply showing up at Moriarty's Sunday between 3-7:00 PM; enjoy live music from local bands and general merrymaking.
