If you are anything like me, seeing that little girl's picture made the eye water start flowing. A child fighting cancer is heartbreaking and makes you wonder why God would allow such a thing.

5 years ago, my niece Kailynn was diagnosed with brain cancer. We had a benefit at Ellie's Country Kitchen in Williamston. The love and giving I felt that day changed my life. I always dreaded going to a cancer benefit because I am a MAN DAMMIT! I don't like crying in public. But the love, positive energy and HOPE helped EVERYONE in our family.

Sunday at Moriarty's from 2-8PM there will be a Love for Lily event with live music, raffles and food. Diane Cooke stopped by to talk about the event with me.

You can see the Love for Lily Facebook page by clicking here.

If you can't make the event Sunday and would still like to donate, a go fund me page is available by clicking here.

This is a 5 year-old little girl fighting cancer. Please help if you can. If you would like to donate an item for raffle, please like the Love for Lily Facebook page and comment there. I am sure everything helps.
