Chick Fil-A fever is about to hit Mid-Michigan again in one week. According to WILX.com, the restaurant chain is set to open its second Lansing Area location one week from today on Thursday, March 30.

The new restaurant is located in Meridian Township, in front of the Okemos Meijer store. To kick off the store's existence, the first 100 adults in line for the 6:00AM grand opening will receive free Chick Fil-A for a year. You can imagine that there will be hordes of folks lining up early.

According to WILX, the store will allow people to begin lining up at 6:00AM on Wednesday, March 29 to get the free sandwich offer. But, in order to qualify, you must live within 30 miles of the store. If more than 100 people line up early, a random drawing will determine the winners, and those winners must remain in line and camp out until the opening on Thursday morning. There is a whole list of rules and details...check out the full WILX story for more.

What's more cool about this opening is that Chick-Fil-A is asking the community to donate new or gently used children's books to St. Vincent Catholic Charities between March 30 and April 1.
