“Shoot it off!” Was The Water Tower Ice Problem ‘Plan A’

The 90 year old Maud, Oklahoma, water tower began leaking around Christmas. Apparently, they couldn't get crews out until after the new year to fix the problem, then a cold front settled in, creating a monstrous ice build-up.

Plan A from the Maud Police Department was to shoot it off. That didn't go well.
