A report from WLNS.com says that numerous Mid-Michigan schools are running out of snow days, and extra days may be added to the school calendars in June.

With snow last night causing slick roads in rural areas, some districts had no choice but to cancel classes today. Some districts, like Eaton Rapids, Fulton, and Bath have already exceeded the amount of snow days allowed by state law, which is six. East Lansing and Haslett reportedly have used five and a half snow days. Lansing has one snow day left in stock.

The likelihood of snow days being done for the season are quite low, as Michiganders well know. Different school districts have different plans to handle the issue. For full details on how districts will avoid adding school days in June, visit this link to WLNS.com
