Still Haunted By Creepy Dummies

It started when I was a kid. My older cousin Glen, had a Charlie McCarthy dummy. Tuxedo and tails with a creepy monocle! It's constant smile and creepy eyes seemed to follow my every move.

Although I'm not sure why, the damn thing creeped out! To this day, the site of a Charlie McCarthy, Danny O'Day or even Howdy Doody, will send a shiver up my spine! Their ridiculous looks and continual expression of surprise, make me want to dump them into the first bonfire I see.

All of that said, there are a few that I find to be quite funny. Ventriloquist/Comedian Jeff Dunham, has a huge selection of characters that are not only affable, but down right funny when set into motion. His Jalapeno "on a steek" is by far my favorite!
