A HUGE thanks to all those who came out and all those who donated to the 14th Annual Spartans Will Step Up for Down Syndrome. The event was Sunday on the MSU campus and raised over 40 thousand dollars for the Capital Area Down Syndrome Association. I am a member of this organization. The generosity will affect me and my daughter. I am very grateful.

My radio partner Deb stopped out and so did our Red Coat listener from England, Ken and his wife Ana. Also, SPARTY STOPPED BY! So did Brian Calley, Lieutenant Governor of Michigan. He is the father of an Autistic child and lead the race. Skip Young from Kia of Lansing was also on hand to show support.

Along the way, the Grand Ledge Cheerleaders, were cheering on the runners and two HAd to hold baby Nugget. When we were leaving, Summer from Grand Ledge yelled, "goodbye Nugget." Thanks Summer and everyone for your support.

Deb, who never likes her picture taken asked... "Where is MY picture with Nugget?"
