The Life I Saved Today

Green lives matter. Today as I was driving home from work on Jolly before Meridian rd, I spotted a turtle about to cross the road. There was some traffic so I pulled into a driveway and walked back.

Mr. Turtle was making it's walk of shame after a night of turtle debauchery in a field. There was a small pond of rain water calling it's name. It was on a mission.

I don't know if it was a male or female, I didn't look for the concave on it's belly but saving that turtle gave me a high like no other. Seeing the other cars slow down and wave was very refreshing. The cure for depression is good deeds... Even if it isn't for another human.
