Tigers Announcers Mario Impemba and Rod Allen Won’t Return

Did you hear about the alleged Detroit Tiger announcer fight in September? Click here to see that. 

Well, it has sealed the fate of the announcing team of Rod Allen and Mario Impemba. Fox Sports Detroit announced the dynamic duo who just couldn't get along, won't be back in the booth next year. Impemba is an MSU grad who has been the TV voice of the Tigers since 2002. Rod Allen had been there since 2003.

Local fans are hoping for a return to Michigan for Dodgers announcer Joe Davis. Davis is a Potterville graduate and one of the hottest announcer names in baseball.

Matt Sheppard and Kirk Gibson are expected to get a bulk of the games, as they already have work experience together... Where they don't fight after the games.
