It was 74 years ago today that Japan attacked the US naval base at Pearl Harbor. The seven hour attack, which killed 2,403 Americans and wounded 1,178, was the act that led the United States into World War Two.

You can watch live-streaming of the events here at this PearlHarborEvents.com, including the interment of Joseph Langdell, who was a young ensign assigned to the USS Arizona who survived the attacks. Ensign Langdell's urn will be buried in the hull of the USS Arizona.

United States flags will be at half-staff today in honor of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
