What Do You Think About Dogs at Festivals?

I was at the East Lansing Arts Festival earlier this month and noticed several dogs there, as I often see at that festival and others.  Check out the Op-Ed piece that ran in the Lansing State Journal yesterday regarding dogs at the Arts festival this year.  I also heard that more than one dog 'left a present' in the middle of the pedestrian walkway at the festival and didn't bother to clean it up.
