Steve Miller Band is coming to the Jackson County Fair on August 11, 2023, with special guest Maggie Rose! Here's your chance to win a pair of tickets to the show!

Steve Miller Band has four platinum albums to its credit, including the 4x platinum "Fly Like an Eagle" from 1976.

The band's breakthrough 1973 single "The Joker" has been certified 5x platinum by the RIAA (Record Industry Association of America), and became the band's first #1 hit on Billboard. "Rock'n Me" from 1976 and "Abracadabra" from 1982 took the band to the top of the charts two more times. "Fly Like an Eagle" and "Jet Airliner" were also Top 10 records, with "Take the Money and Run" barely missing the Top 10, rising as high as #11.

Maggie Rose has been recording and releasing music to country and soul/R&B audiences for more than a decade. Her 2012 single "I Ain't Your Mama" and 2013 single "Better" both reached the Top 30 on Billboard's Country Airplay charts. Her latest project Have a Seat is what Maggie calls "her own unbridled collision of rock-and-roll, soul, folk, funk, and R&B".

Maggie Rose will open for Steve Miller Band on Friday, August 11, 2023, at the Jackson County Fair. Gates will open that evening at 5:30pm, with the show slated to begin at 7pm.
