2017 Michigan State Troopers Hat Going Retro

I shared the story about Rick DeVos wanting to change the Michigan State flag. One of the comments was: "If it isn't broke don't fix it. PS, the new State Trooper hats are embarrassing, I feel sorry for the hard working troopers that will soon look less professional."

This is the hat he was speaking of. I don't think it's that bad. It surely wouldn't get me to laugh in the officer's face.

It's all celebrating 100 years of the Michigan State Police. Click here for the history and full story. They say they will only wear the hats for one year. This uniform change will take effect on January 1, 2017.
