62 Year-Old Breaks World Record for Planking
Here is some Monday motivation for you. I saw one article that called him a former Marine and laughed. You are always a Marine.
62 year-old former DEA Special Agent George Hood of Illinois set the new planking World Record this weekend. He held it before and his children pushed him to try and reclaim it. Dude planked for 8 hours 15 minutes and 15 seconds breaking the record by 4 minutes.
He said some powerful words.
I’ve seen enough folks in the military and my law enforcement comrades who haven’t fared so well," Hood said. "We want to break that stigma of seeking [mental health] help.
What an inspiration. He said this will likely be his last planking title but now has his sights set on the push-ups completed in one hour record of 2,806.
