CADSA Spartans Will Step Up for Down Syndrome September 15th
The Spartans Will Step Up for Down Syndrome has a new date this year. It will be on September 15th on the campus of MSU beginning at the MSU Auditorium. What follows is best described as a family-friendly street fair with free food, performers, entertainment, bounce houses, face painting, and more.
Last year, they had a Zumba warm-up for the runners and walkers. My daughter raised the most money last year. So, she was named Grand Marshall of the Team Walk.
My daughter benefits directly from the money raised. We do Capital Area Down Syndrome Association (CADSA) music therapy, we always try to make it to the playgroup but my wife and I have learned so much from the other parents. It's really a blessing for our entire family.
