Could We See Flooding in the Lansing Area This Weekend

Just what we don't want to hear or read about, the possibility of flooding this weekend in the Lansing area.

The Lansing region is in for another day of bone chilling cold before temperatures rise into the teens on Friday, ahead of the weekend thaw.

Believe it or not, mid-Michigan could face another problem when the bitter cold and blowing snow finally move out this weekend.

According to the Lansing State Journal, a sudden thaw, coupled with rain showers, could lead to flooding.  We could get some rain on top of the snow over the weekend.
