My buddy Norm Nack posted on Facebook the other day something I didn't expect to see.

Norm Said: "Be careful out there...The Webberville Lions had their first counterfeit $20 bill turned in at the Social Barn. The bank made a copy and now they have it and will be turning it in to the government... The bank said there are 100s and 20s being circulated in the area. And I surely couldn't tell it was fake just by looking at it."

I asked Norm how he caught it and he said the money machine at the bank stopped and that was the first red flag. Then they compared it to another 20 and it didn't match but on it's own was hard to see.

Webberville is a very small town. To think counterfeit money is being passed here... I can imagine it is happening in other places too.

Get up with Deb and Joy Weekdays 6-10am.
