Grab some bait, head to the Michigan waters for free!

Part time anglers and amateurs can hit Michigan waterways to do some fishing this weekend without springing for a license. WILX.com reports that the Michigan Department of Natural Resources is conducting its annual Free Fishing Weekend this Saturday and Sunday.

The campaign aims to get the state's youth and occasional fishers a chance to explore a favorite activity of Michiganders. There are a number of events locally, and across the state to recognize the promotion.
